The examen civique (France's civic exam) is sat in an approved centre, on a tablet or computer. Two networks run the sessions: the CCI (chambers of commerce and industry) and France Éducation international (FEI). You can only register on their platforms.

CCI or France Éducation international: what's the difference?
None, as far as the exam goes: the format, the duration and the pass mark are the same everywhere. The two networks differ only in their centres, their session dates and their fees.
CCI network
The chambers of commerce and industry, via the "Le Français des Affaires" candidate portal. You search for a session by city and date.
France Éducation international (FEI)
The public operator attached to the Ministry of Education, with its own directory of approved centres and its own registration platform.
How to choose your centre
- Look at distance first: the exam is sat on site, and a nearby centre spares you a journey on an already stressful day.
- Compare session dates. They vary a lot between centres, and one further away may have a much earlier slot.
- Compare the fee: there is no national price, each centre sets its own — budget around €70–90 per session.
- Check the centre is actually listed on one of the two platforms. If a site offers to register you anywhere else, it's a scam.

FAQ about the centres
Where can I sit the examen civique?
At a centre approved by one of the two networks: the CCI or France Éducation international. Centres are spread across France; registration happens on the relevant network's platform, never anywhere else.
Do I have to live in the city to sit the exam there?
You pick your centre and slot directly on the network's platform. Any conditions specific to a centre are shown there when you book.
How much does a session cost?
There is no national price: each approved centre sets its own. In practice you see around €70–90 per session, paid to the centre at registration.
Can I register on this site?
No. We take no registrations and are affiliated with no centre. We list centres with their official source and send you to the networks' platforms. What we offer is the training.
