Registering for the examen civique
You register on one of the two approved-centre platforms. Here is how to choose, book a date and pay — without being caught out by a fake site.

The two approved-centre networks
The exam is only taken at an approved centre. There are two networks, and you are free to choose the one with a centre near you and a date that suits you.
The CCI (chambers of commerce and industry)
For example, CCI Paris Île-de-France. You create your file and book your session directly online.
France Éducation international (FEI)
The second official centre network. Here too, registration and choosing a date are done online.
How much it costs
Each centre sets its own fee: there is no set national price. In practice, a session costs around €70–90. Preparation, on the other hand, can be entirely free. For the full picture, see our page Exam price.
Beware of scams
The ministry of the Interior warns against fake paid sites:

Let us be clear about our role: Civicap never sells access to the questions. The knowledge questions are free at the ministry, and they will stay that way. What we offer is practice around those questions — examens blancs (mock exams), explanations at your language level, and a revision plan. Registering for the exam itself is always done on the CCI or FEI platforms above.
