FAQ — examen civique in Paris
How much does the examen civique cost in Paris?
There is no national price: each approved centre sets its own fee. In practice you see around €70–90 per session. The exact amount shows at registration on the centre's platform.
How do I register for the examen civique in Paris?
You can only register on the platform of the network running the session: the CCI candidate portal or the France Éducation international platform. That's where you pick the centre, the date and the slot. We take no registrations.
How many questions are there, and how many must I get right?
40 multiple-choice questions in 45 minutes maximum, of which 28 knowledge questions and 12 mises en situation. You need 32 correct out of 40, i.e. 80%.
What do I need to bring on the day?
A valid ID document and your convocation (registration confirmation). Arrive early: check-in and getting set up take time.
Can I retake the exam if I fail in Paris?
Yes, you can retake it. There is no reduced fee: every new attempt is paid again at the centre's price.
