Who has to take the exam?
This concerns you if you are an adult, a national of a country outside the European Union, a signatory of the contrat d'intégration républicaine (republican integration contract, CIR), and you are applying for a carte de séjour pluriannuelle for the first time.

What is the exam format?
40 QCM (multiple-choice) questions: 28 knowledge questions and 12 mises en situation (situational questions). 45 minutes maximum, pass mark of 32 correct answers out of 40 (80%).
What level of French do you need?
